Chordopia

Chordopia is a chord finder for guitar, ukulele, and mandolin. It searches all possible finger positions to identify chords and their voicings, ranks results by ease of play and sound, and lets you hear each voicing. It also supports alternate tunings such as drop-D, DADGAD, and arbitrary custom tunings. The app isn’t a fixed chord book; it dynamically explores possibilities to provide rich, searchable chord options in a fraction of a second.

It works two ways: enter a chord name to see multiple voicings, or drag the dots in a chord diagram to new frets and instantly learn the resulting chord. It knows more than 50 chord types for each of the 12 root notes (600+ chords total), with many variants and tunings expanding the library. On a 12-fret guitar in standard tuning, there can be over 100,000 distinct voicings to discover.
