Its realistic and clear interface recalls the analog machine from the past, for all the vintage fanatics. You can play with the groove presets included or you can create your own beat to play along your favorite song via InterApp, Audiobus, Core MIDI and clock MIDI.

You can also share your drum patterns with iTunes filse sharing or Audio Copy.

I spent Sunday and Saturday of this past weekend working on 24 percussion tracks I could play with bass, synth, and guitar. I was very happy with the sound so far. I saved frequently. I have no idea what I hit, but the 909 switched into instrument mode, reset to the original template beats, and overwrote my m music for with the template beats. I'm sticking with Logic Pro from here on out. These apps are novelty only.

I have the 808 EG app. Which I believe sounds fantastic. 4 or 5 stars there. Strangely this is way different toy. In comparison this app sounds like it has a low pass filter on it or the samples are very weak. No fun.
