User Reviews

Reviews largely praise Parks Seeker for its ease of use, simple design, and a map-based interface that shows visited versus unvisited parks with color-coded pins. Users value cross-agency coverage beyond just NPS sites, the ability to check off visits, and GPS logging. Photo uploads, sharing, and ongoing category expansions are highlighted as major strengths. Several reviewers request enhancements such as saving or backing up data with a user account, filtering or sorting by state, and additional category packs. Overall, a strong, user-friendly tool with room for features.
Pros
  • Easy to use with a simple, clean interface.
  • Map with pushpins and color indicators showing visited vs not visited, making progress visible.
  • Covers parks from multiple agencies, not limited to the NPS.
  • Keeps a log of visits with the ability to check off parks and track GPS-based visits.
  • Supports adding photos and sharing, with ongoing updates and new category expansions (bundles).

This app is worthless. If you want a great app, get the free NPS app from the National Park Services. It has everything you want or need and then some.

The app is great. I would appreciate if there was an option to create a username and account so that I could back up everything that I’m saving. Also, if there could be a way to list what national sites are tracked with cancellation stamps that would be very helpful.
