TRACK YOUR VISITS Browse all 63 national parks in a searchable, filterable grid. Log visits with custom dates, notes, and photos from your library. Each visit supports flexible date precision — exact date, month and year, year only, or approximate — so you can record trips from memory.

PARK OF THE DAY Every day, a featured park appears at the top of your grid — a new spark of inspiration for your next trip.

CHECK IN WITH GPS Open the map, tap Check In, and the app uses your GPS coordinates to detect which park you are standing in. Boundary detection uses official NPS polygon data, so you have to actually be there. A celebration animation marks each successful check-in.

VIEW LIVE PARK DATA See real-time alerts, photo galleries, operating hours, and entrance fees for every park, sourced directly from the National Park Service. Active alerts are color-coded by severity so you always know current conditions.

EARN MILESTONE BADGES Six achievement badges reward your progress: First Summit (1 park), Explorer (5), Adventurer (10), Trailblazer (25), Ranger (50), and Legend (all 63). Each badge records the exact date you earned it. Share your journey with high-resolution cards — your visited parks plotted on a US map, a dated badge card, or a format sized for Stories.

PLAN TRIPS Group visits into named trips with start and end dates. See which parks and states each trip covered, and relive your road trip memories.

BUILD YOUR WISHLIST Tap the heart on any park to add it to your Wishlist. Filter the parks grid to show only wishlisted parks when planning your next adventure.

VISIT HEATMAP A year-at-a-glance calendar of your park activity, GitHub-style. Tap any day to see which park you visited, and watch planned trips appear as outlined days.

SIRI, SHORTCUTS & SPOTLIGHT Ask Siri how many parks you've visited or for a random park suggestion. Search any park's name from your home screen and jump straight to its page.

YEAR IN REVIEW See your stats for any year — parks visited, total visits, states covered, and the first park you explored that year.

TIMELINE After visiting 10 parks, unlock a chronological timeline of every visit grouped by year.

HOME SCREEN & LOCK SCREEN WIDGETS Add a Parks Progress widget to your Home Screen in small, medium, or large sizes — or put your progress right on your Lock Screen with circular, rectangular, and inline widgets. Tap any of them to jump straight to your progress.

EXPORT AND IMPORT Back up your visit history and trips as a JSON file. Restore from backup on a new device — duplicates are skipped automatically and achievement badges recalculate to reflect your full history.
