Icewind Dale on iOS is a nostalgic, faithful port that shines for fans thanks to its deep party-building, six-character setup, and solid touch controls on iPad. It offers strong content breadth and replay value. However, durability and reliability problems recur: save/load instability, small-screen usability issues (especially on iPhone), UI clutter, patch/support gaps, and cross-platform/multiplayer limitations. If these are addressed, it could be an excellent mobile classic; as-is, opinions are mixed.

I refuse to create another party just to have the game crash before I can save it. I get it’s an older game, but its still frustrating

I am obsessed with dungeons and dragons lately and this game is the perfect fix. I even prefer my iPad version over my console version, although the original PC is still the best version. This version is streamlined for mobile and they did a good job with it. I love coming up with different party scenarios to try and then making a run thru the game. Even though I have most everything memorized by now there's still something so comforting about these games, including Baldur's Gate 1 & 2, etc. I never get bored or tire of these games and it's a must they remain on my tablet. I highly recommend any of these games.
