User Reviews

Reviews consistently praise Night Camera for strong night photography and versatility, with many calling it the best camera app. However, recurring criticisms focus on expensive pricing and recurring charges, plus reliability problems that affect startup and photo saving. The app’s free features are noted by some as a benefit, but the pricing remains the primary drawback for a subset of users.
Pros
  • Widely praised as one of the best camera apps; multiple reviews call it the best or favorite.
  • Excellent night/low-light photography (night vision) capabilities.
  • Versatile across lighting conditions; performs well in daytime too.
  • Free features are usable without paying and some reviewers highlight value without immediate purchase.
  • Positive impressions for creative night-sky photography when settings are learned.
Cons
  • Pricing and billing concerns: trial charges and weekly rates, with many noting high annual cost.
  • Reliability issues: startup problems, images turning out all black, and some photos not saving.

App was decent several years ago and only really needed occasional use. However, app is an add filled mess now (always kind of way, but now somehow worse). U can drop the adds for the low, low price of $8.99……a week. Hysterically stupid. App was only ok to begin with and would struggle to justify a one time expense of $8.99, let alone a weekly charge. Predatory garbage. Likely hoping you pull the trigger on that when you need it and that you subsequently forget to unsubscribe after your one week use. Don’t reward this business with a download for even the “free” garbage it claims to be.
