Night Camera HD is your expert tool for professional nighttime shots on iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. It offers manual shutter speeds up to 1 second, manual ISO, focus, and white balance, plus real-time luminance, RGB, and exposure histograms to help prevent under- or overexposure. The app exports high–resolution PNG images, supports front and back cameras, and includes a self-timer, volume button capture, and an option to lock settings for steady hand-held shooting.

Overlays are available to guide composition, including Rule of Thirds, Golden Spirals, and Golden Triangle, along with virtual horizon and real-time color filters. Features like 6x digital zoom, full-screen mode, eco mode, EXIF data support, and easy sharing to Facebook and Twitter round out the package. An iPad version is available as well.

I’ve got every kind of camera app you can imagine and have a few “go to” apps in a “goto “ folder. This morning about 5am, I was sitting in backyard just noodlin taking pictures of the night sky with a couple of my “goto@ apps and it just wasn’t working. Then I remembered this app! I pulled it out of my cloud storage and… wild boy howdy! It did exactly what I wanted. The lo-light shots of my dogs sleeping on the patio looked great! Thank you for this app(belatedly). It is now in my “goto “ folder where it belonged!
