2026-01-18 vr***** I’ve been a UMassFive customer for years and rely on the app! Any update has always been announced with plenty of time for the short service outages and always proves to be more helpful and create more pathways to user-friendliness.

2025-11-18 SG***** i have so many problems logging in, paying my bill, accessing my statements. this app never works properly. now i am receiving error messages that my ip is blocked. what a joke.

2025-11-17 da***** Bank has updated their app from the ground up, removing useful quality of life features like “Instant Balance” preview features you’d expect from other institutions while adding on weird new features that don’t improve experience. Only banking app that wants location data, and iPhone shows it tracking location for hours after use. Really poor design.

2025-07-07 Pr***** No other financial institution’s app that I have used requires you to keep authoring Face ID. This is kind of crazy that you’re required to do that every month or so.

2024-12-11 14***** I really enjoy not having access to my $ when the website shuts down without warning. App also does not work when this happens. Seems to happen frequently between midnight and 4am without warning. There is no quick fix or anyone to help since they don’t have 24 hour support. Will be changing banks very soon.

2024-10-26 Fo***** The app is terrible! When you try to go on my cards in the app you just get the spinning wheel, it never loads or pulls it up. The desktop website is great but the app could definitely use some work.

2024-06-16 Mo***** I’m often having to drive to deposit my checks because the mobile deposit function can’t read the checks. Never had this problem with other banks.

2023-12-13 Pa***** UMass and the app were amazing. Now it seems like the app and online banking are always down. Using my debit card always takes days to process on my account making it incredibly difficult to track if you do many small purchases. At this point, using and old fashioned check book log would be more accurate and reliable than their mobile and online system which is pretty lame. I had been with them for almost a decade but my family and I will be leaving the bank because of how often we can’t even look at our accounts
