Tilde: Private Journal

Write every day with no accounts and no cloud. Tilde is a simple, beautiful journal that keeps your data on your iPhone. Free.

Tilde is a journal for writing every day, without the noise.

It opens ready to write. No accounts, no ads, no subscriptions and no connection needed: everything you write stays on your iPhone.

WRITE • A clean editor with a title, text and photos on every entry. • Prompts for when you don't know where to start, and templates for the days you repeat. • Tags and multiple journals to keep work, travel or anything else apart.

LOOK BACK • “On this day”: what you wrote on this date in earlier years. • Search every entry and filter by journal, tag or favorites. • Insights: your streak, your words and how your mood has changed.

LOOK AFTER YOURSELF • “How are you today?”: log your mood in one tap. • Gentle reminders, only if you want them and at the time you choose. • Optional Face ID lock to help protect your journal.

YOUR WAY • Widgets for the Home Screen and the Lock Screen. • Shortcuts and Siri to write without opening the app, and sharing text, photos and links from other apps. • Light and dark mode, large text and VoiceOver.

YOUR DATA IS YOURS • Export a backup or a Markdown file whenever you like, and import it on another iPhone. • Tilde collects no data, doesn't track you and sends nothing off your device.

Available in Spanish, English and French.
