8B Re Life: One in 8 Billion

8B Re Life brings a text-based life simulation to iPhone and iPad, based on the content and gameplay of in8b.com.

Begin in one of 172 countries, with a birthplace and family background you did not choose. Follow the years through childhood, education, work, relationships and the end of a life. Country statistics provide context; events and choices build a fictional story.

Life advances automatically. In manual mode, important decisions pause for your response. Read at your own pace, change the speed, pause and resume, or switch between manual and automatic choices.

Keep moments that matter, revisit recorded ages in the yearbook and look back over a completed life. Lives and notes are stored on your device. Export a backup before removing the app or changing devices.

Free, with no ads, account or in-app purchases. The game can be played offline.

This iOS adaptation refers to in8b.com. The app includes source and statistical-data notes. Country figures combine different reference years and are not live statistics. The simulation is not a prediction of your health, income or future.

Content may include illness, death, suicide, bereavement, poverty, war, relationship conflict, pregnancy loss, and references to tobacco, alcohol or substance-related harm. Some translations use machine translation and have not been independently reviewed by native-language editors.
