Features & Capabilities

Press Lucid Dream at bedtime: wake after 6:15, then gentle cues help you realize you're dreaming. Everything free for three days.

Press the big Lucid Dream button when you go to bed. Nothing else to set: the app places the signals from the moment you press it.

HOW IT WORKS After 6 hours 15 minutes the first signal wakes you. Six hours are four full sleep cycles, and 15 minutes is time to fall asleep. Deep sleep is behind you; what follows are long, vivid REM phases. Stay awake for 10–30 minutes, recall your dream and lie down again — this is the wake-back-to-bed method (WBTB).

Then gentle signals play. Each one plays once and fades by itself — nothing to turn off. They are not meant to wake you, only to lift your awareness slightly so you remember your intention and realize you're dreaming.

THREE READY-MADE BUTTONS • Workday — wakes you after 6:15, two gentle signals, then an alarm for work. The button shows in advance what time you'll get up. • Day off — wakes you after 6:15, then only gentle signals: nowhere to be. • Nap — an hour and a half to two in the day or evening, gentle signals and a wake-up.

YOUR OWN BUTTONS Create as many buttons as you like, each with its own name and color. Each has a first signal, a series at an even interval and, if needed, a last one to get up. Every part can wake you or stay gentle.

WAKES YOU FOR REAL A waking signal is a real iPhone alarm: it sounds in Silent mode and during Sleep Focus, and vibrates as strongly as the built-in alarm. You can choose vibration only, with no melody.

REAL SOUNDS Mechanical alarm clock, chimes, gong, rooster, blackbird, sea, stream, forest, rain, campfire, singing bowl, wind chimes — real recordings. Or your own sound.

WIDGETS Buttons on the Home Screen, the Lock Screen and in Control Center.

ALSO FOR OUT-OF-BODY PRACTICE The wake-back-to-bed method and gentle cues during light sleep are the same foundation used in out-of-body experience (OBE) and astral projection practice.

DREAM JOURNAL Dictate your dream — the text appears by itself. Mark lucid dreams and keep your streak.

FAIR PRICING Everything is free for three days, with no purchase and no charge. After that the first button with waking signals and the journal stay free. Gentle signals, your own buttons and widgets are a one-time purchase, no subscription.

HONEST LIMITS • The app does no background work and doesn't drain the battery at night • A gentle signal is a notification: in Silent mode it arrives as a short vibration • The app can't see alarms from the Clock app — check the wake-up time shown on the button • Your journal and recordings stay on your phone: no accounts, no servers, no ads
