Pitlane assists garage staff in managing the entire service lifecycle—from customer and vehicle profiles, appointments, vehicle intake (recording mileage and initial condition), and technical inspection checklists to visual "Health Maps" with scanning effects, root cause diagnosis, repair planning, cost simulation, quoting, and work progress tracking. A central dashboard provides an overview of vehicles in the garage, appointments, active jobs, parts-pending status, final inspections, and vehicles ready for handover, featuring a notification system linked directly to the relevant tasks. The application supports CRUD operations for customers, vehicles, staff, and appointments, including dependency checks before creation, real-time validation, technician assignment, and management of spare parts, labor costs, discounts, and approval statuses; it also synchronizes states across checklists, Health Maps, diagnostics, quotes, repairs, and handovers. All data is stored locally within the browser, and the system supports mobile and iPad interfaces, featuring unified navigation, full-screen modals, search and filtering capabilities, and logical constraints to ensure seamless garage operations.
