Beer vs Jog keeps track of the balance between the beers you drink and the miles you run. Log the beer when you've had it and the run when you're home — the needle on the home screen shows right away whether you're up or down.

Below zero you have a beer debt, and the app converts it into how far you need to run. Above zero you have beer in the bank.

HOW IT WORKS • Two taps to log a beer: size and style. Calories are worked out from alcohol content and residual sugar. • Two taps to log a run: distance, and time if you like. Burn is worked out from your body weight. • The balance is burned minus consumed — shown in beers, with the calories as the receipt. • Had wine, or went for a ride? Cider, wine, cocktails and spirits are converted into beers, and walks, rides, swims, strength sessions and other workouts into running.
