WHAT YOUR CHILD LEARNS Chessling teaches real chess, one small idea at a time: how each piece moves, spotting a fork or a pin, castling, delivering checkmate — through 106 short story lessons ("Rides") across 8 candy-themed islands, each with its own animal keeper and a Boss Show at the end. No lesson ever says "wrong" — a missed move just wiggles and tries again. Big, forgiving tap targets and on-screen board animation mean a five-year-old who can't read yet can still play and learn.

Beyond the story, Chessling keeps teaching for months: a 20-rung Champions Ladder of bots that get gradually tougher, 41,000+ puzzles from the public Lichess puzzle database plus 1,800 original beginner puzzles (so a kid doing ten a day never runs out), and a daily "Daily Ten" habit that fills a streak flame — one that pauses on a missed day rather than punishing your child by resetting.
