■ Enjoy the Walk Itself

Memory of Atom is a step-based game that doesn't require you to look at your phone while walking.

No GPS. No maps. No checkpoints.

When you're out in the real world, just enjoy your walk. When it's time for a break, sit down on a bench or stop by a café and open the app. The more you walk, the greater your advantage in battle.

Your steps are recorded automatically and converted into Walk Points. If you walk a lot today, you'll be properly rewarded in the game, too.

This app uses step-count data from your device's health service.

■ Fight with the Memories of Those Who Came Before

In this world, it is believed that when a person dies, faint traces of their memories remain within the atoms they leave behind.

Use the power you've gathered by walking to summon Memory Fragments.

Takeda Shingen's "Mountain." Newton's "Universal Gravitation." Peasant "People's Power." Murasaki "Shikibus „Mono no Aware" "

Some left their names in history. Others did not.

Twenty people from the past each lend you four of their memories—a total of 80 different Memory Fragments. More will gradually be added over time.

Build your set of Memory Fragments and take on side-scrolling auto-battles to cleanse the dark thoughts haunting the city.

There are no frantic controls during battle. Victory is decided before the fight begins—through growth, team-building, and preparation.

Live through a one-week lifespan again and again, growing stronger and advancing a little further with each reincarnation.

Each stage takes about 3–5 minutes, and around 15 minutes a day is enough to complete your daily play.

This isn't a game designed to make you constantly check your phone throughout the day.

■ Your Hero Has One Week to Live

The protagonist of this game has a limited lifespan.

After about one week, their life comes to an end, and they are reborn into a new one.

Your level returns to 1.

But the Memory Fragments you've raised remain, and the fragments you choose as keepsakes are passed down to the next protagonist.

With every new life, you become a little stronger—slowly, but surely.

A person's life doesn't simply disappear when it ends. Something is always passed on to what comes next.

That feeling is built into the game's cycle itself.

■ This Game May Be for You If...

  • You enjoy walking, or want to build a walking habit.
  • You're tired of staring at a screen while walking in GPS-based games.
  • You're tired of games that demand hours of play, but still want something to enjoy.
  • You like leveling up and watching numbers gradually grow.
  • You prefer growth, team-building, and preparation over flashy controls.
  • You want a game you can play a little each day for months—or even years.

This isn't a game meant to be finished and forgotten in a short time.

It's a game designed to quietly remain a part of your everyday life for a long time.

■ How to Play

  1. Walk in the real world. You don't need to open the app.
  2. Earn Walk Points based on your steps.
  3. During a break or after you get home, use those points to summon Memory Fragments.
  4. Build your set of fragments and enter an auto-battle.
  5. Strengthen your protagonist and fragments to reach deeper stages.
