The Shield is a private, verified community built exclusively for law enforcement officers. Every member is verified before they gain access, creating a trusted space where officers can speak candidly, support one another, and share the realities of the job — without the noise of public social media. ANONYMOUS BY DESIGN Officers are anonymous to each other by default. Your posts show your rank and years of service — never your name — unless you and another officer mutually choose to reveal your identities. What you share stays within a verified community of your peers. Verification documents are deleted immediately after review — we do not retain them. You control what you share and who sees your identity. MODERATION Report objectionable content or block any user directly from the app. Reports are reviewed and actioned promptly. The Shield is an independent platform.
