Shield – Community Safety Net

Shield is a community safety network that connects you to the people you trust — and to Shield users nearby — at the moment you need help.

One press of SOS sends an alert with your location to two groups at once:

• The circle you chose. They see who you are and where you are.
• Shield users nearby. Anyone whose own alert radius covers your location is notified that someone nearby needs help, and can choose to respond. Your name is not shared with them.

During an incident you see what is actually happening, live: who was alerted, who is responding, who is on the way, and what still needs to happen. Instead of sitting in uncertainty or starting frantic phone calls, everything comes together in one place — a live incident, a map, responder status, and a coordination chat.

Shield also gives your trusted circle a Live 24/7 view: with their agreement, circle members can see each other's live location on the map, so help does not start from zero when something happens.

Setting up takes minutes: a redesigned first-run experience walks you through permissions and your first circle so you are protected from day one.

Shield was built to turn the connections you already have into a real safety net: family, friends, neighbours, and Shield users close by.

IMPORTANT: Shield is a tool for coordinating community help. It is not an official emergency call centre and it is not a replacement for the police, Magen David Adom, the fire service, or any other emergency service. In a real emergency, call your local emergency services first.
