Rase is rubber bridge for people who actually play bridge.
Sit South, pick up thirteen cards, and bid a real auction against three robots. Play the hand out. Score it the proper way — above and below the line, part-scores carried, honours counted, game and rubber bonuses where they belong. Then find out exactly how well you did.
THE GAME
A full rubber, scored the traditional way. Games, part-scores, vulnerability, honours, and the unfinished-rubber bonus if you stop halfway. The scorepad is always a tap away, laid out the way you'd write it on paper.
YOUR SYSTEM, NOT SOMEBODY ELSES
Choose American Standard 2/1 or ACOL, then set the conventions you actually play:
• Stayman and Jacoby transfers
• Minor-suit transfers over 1NT
• Weak or strong two-bids
• Blackwood — regular, RKCB 1430, or 3014
• Gerber, Landy, Jacoby 2NT
• Negative and takeout doubles
• Better minor or short club
• Attitude, reverse attitude, or McKenney signals and discards
The robots bid and defend to the same system you've chosen, so the auction makes sense from both sides of the table.
THE VERDICT ON EVERY HAND
When the hand is over, Rase grades it. A double-dummy solver — the same class of engine used to analyse championship deals — works out what was actually available, then walks your auction bid by bid and your play card by card, showing where you gained and where you spilled tricks. You get the par result, the trick-availability table, and a plain-English debrief. Replay any hand to try the line you wish you'd found.
HAND ARCHIVE
Every completed deal is kept. Come back to the interesting ones, reread the analysis, and replay them whenever you like.
LIVE SCOREPAD
Playing with real cards at a real table? Rase will keep score for you. Tap in each contract and result, and the pad handles the arithmetic — honours, doubles, vulnerability, the lot — with a running rubber timer and a history of past rubbers.
LEARN THE GAME
Built-in tutorials cover what rubber bridge is, how a hand runs, scoring above and below the line, defending doubled 1NT contracts, and what changes when you come to rubber from duplicate.
