User Reviews

Bridge by NeuralPlay is lauded as an educational, entertaining bridge app with strong practice and self-analysis features, and praised by many as one of the best solo-bridge options, offering competitive, human-like play and helpful bidding/play analysis. However, frequent recurring complaints center on intrusive ads and scams, persistent settings and update bugs, questionable AI/partner bidding behavior and perceived unfair card distribution, and UI/readability issues (showing all cards, suit color separation). A subset of reviews report stability problems and occasional game crashes. Overall, it’s valuable for learning, but user experience is marred by ads and AI behavior concerns.
Pros
  • Educational tool with bidding and hand-play analysis for self-review.
  • Engaging, enjoyable app that many users call their favorite bridge app.
  • Solid solo-play experience that feels like a competent human opponent for practice.
  • Strong teaching value; widely praised as good for learning and improving skills.
  • Useful practice platform with bidding guidance and play analysis.
Cons
  • Intrusive ads, including loud and sexually explicit ads, plus popups/scams; ads interfere with gameplay between hands.
  • Settings and update bugs break preferences (e.g., North/South advantage or other settings not saved).
  • AI/bidding and distribution issues: perceived cheating, weak partner bidding, or inconsistent play.
  • UI/readability problems: hard-to-read opponent/partner cards, not all cards shown, suit-color confusion.
  • Stability problems: game crashes/lockups when switching modes or between hands.

Great Bridge App - clean playing - few ads - amazed I can beat a computer - I really not that good. - also , dealt Grand Slams and Baby Grands. Makes me feel like I’m pretty good

I like the concept of the app and it can be useful for practicing bridge hands. However, the app continues to crash even after deleting and reinstalling it. I also contacted support about the issue and never received a response. For a learning app, reliability and support matter. The bidding explanations can also be difficult for learners because some calls rely on specific conventions without enough upfront clarity. I would be happy to revise this review if the crashing issue is fixed and support responds.
