Features & Capabilities

108 Moments gives you one practice a day and one thing to watch for. Catch it out in your real life, move a bead. Eighteen a day, with your phone in your pocket.

One practice a day. Eighteen moments to catch.

108 Moments is a daily practice that runs in your real life instead of on your phone. Each morning it gives you one practice — one specific thing to watch for. You spend the day watching for it. Every time you catch it, you move a bead. Eighteen beads is a day.

HOW A DAY WORKS

Morning takes about a minute. Log the beads you moved yesterday. Read today's practice — one plain sentence. Read the short "why this works" underneath it if you want it.

Then put your phone away. The practice runs on your attention, not your screen. Spot the thing, move a bead. That's the whole loop.

WHAT A PRACTICE IS

A practice names one thing to catch: something going right, a person to wish well, the moment you'd normally be hard on yourself, the urge to fill a silence. Specific enough that you know it when you see it. Common enough that eighteen a day is realistic — roughly one an hour.

There are 108 practices. You only ever have one at a time, and the app picks the order.

IT GOES DEEPER, NOT LONGER

Each practice has six levels. Eighteen beads completes the level you're on, and the practice then steps back and returns to you later, deeper — the same territory, asking more of you. Six levels, 108 moments, and that practice is yours.

The sessions never get longer. The practice gets sharper.

THE NECKLACE

The count lives on a necklace you wear: two strands of nine beads, eighteen in all, and eighteen is a full day. Move one with your thumb and keep going. Nothing to unlock, nothing to type, nothing to confirm.

No necklace? Nothing is gated on owning one — the app will keep the count instead.

CHIMES

A chime is not an alarm. It rings once — a real singing bowl, recorded, not synthesized — and fades. No snooze, no red badge, nothing to dismiss. Set one for lunch, a walk, the start of a focus block, or sunset, and the sunset one follows the actual sunset where you live, all year.

WHAT'S IN IT

• 108 practices, each six levels deep, served one at a time • A one-sentence practice each day, in plain English — no jargon, nothing mystical • An order tuned to you: what you tell it at the start decides which practices come first, and each check-in tunes it again • Short reads on why these practices work, grounded in research on gratitude, self-compassion, savoring and kindness • Gentle chimes you set yourself, including one that tracks your local sunset • A running count for today, and a map of all 108 showing where you have been and how deep • A streak that understands real life — miss a day and it holds, once • A monthly check-in (the WHO-5, a widely used five-question well-being measure) so you can watch your own line over time, flat parts and all

PRIVACY

Everything works with no account at all. Your check-in answers and scores never leave your device for analytics. Make an account and it syncs your own progress — that is all it does. Usage analytics can be turned off in Settings.

Built for people who are busy, a little skeptical, and would rather do one small thing well than one more thing badly.
