OrthoLog is a fast, private logbook built for orthopedic surgery residents. Tap a region on the body map, pick the procedure, and you are done.

WHAT IT DOES

• Log in seconds. A quick-log home screen, a body map for every service, and search across the whole procedure catalogue. • Record what you actually did. Approach, technique, graft, and involvement. • Break down a compound case. Tick the parts of a terrible triad or a complex reconstruction that you performed yourself, kept separate from your case count. • Attach imaging. Pre-op, intra-op and post-op images, each with its own note. • See where you stand. Filter and count by date, rotation, subspecialty, operation, technique, involvement or attending. • Export for a supervisor. A clean spreadsheet for review, or a case book: one offline web page with your images that opens in any browser. • Bring your old logbook with you. Import cases from a spreadsheet. • Back up everything to a single file you control.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

There is no account and no sign-up. Every core feature works with no internet at all. Your cases sync only through your own private iCloud, so they follow you to a new iPhone without passing through anyone else's server.

There are no fields for patient names, medical record numbers or dates of birth, and there never will be. Notes come in two boxes: a shared one, and a private one that never leaves your phone. Photos stay on your own devices and are left out of exports unless you tick the box.

OrthoLog sends a small amount of information to the developer: anonymous usage counts, feedback you choose to write, and the text in the shared note box. You can turn that off in Settings. All of it is described in the privacy policy.

WHAT IT IS NOT

OrthoLog is a personal record of operations you have already done. It gives no diagnosis, no treatment advice and no patient-specific decision support.
