Muscle, sleep and recovery
New in 1.4: LeibFit on Apple Watch – your rings, today's workout and the rest timer on your wrist. Strength training now counts towards strain. Free for 7 days.
Your training. Your recovery. On iPhone and Apple Watch.
LeibFit builds your strength plan around your equipment, your goal and your week – and every morning it shows you how much you can take today. Just the watch you already wear: no extra hardware, no second subscription for it. No account, no cloud, no tracking. Everything stays on the device.
YOUR PLAN KNOWS YOUR EQUIPMENT
Tell it once what you have: barbell, dumbbells, machines, bands or just bodyweight. LeibFit only plans with what's actually in front of you – at home, at the gym, or both, because the location belongs to the individual training day. 91 exercises with form cues, alternatives and illustrations.
AI OR BUILT BY YOU
Have your week put together for you, or build it day by day: pick exercises, set sets, reps, weight and rest. One thing stays fixed: the split, volume, reps and starting weights are calculated deterministically. The AI only picks exercises from the vetted database – it never invents one.
SLEEP, RECOVERY, STRAIN
Three numbers, every morning:
– Recovery 0–100 from heart rate variability, resting heart rate and sleep – measured against your own 30-day baseline, not somebody's average.
– Sleep with a need model: learned baseline, sleep debt, naps, consistency, and a bedtime for tonight.
– Strain 0–21 from heart rate zones and training volume, with a daily target that follows your recovery.
Plus your nightly vitals and how far each sits from your own average. Works with any watch that writes to Apple Health.
JOURNAL: WHAT LINES UP FOR YOU
A short round of questions each morning about yesterday: alcohol, stress, caffeine, screen time, sauna, a walk. After enough days, LeibFit shows which answers go together with your recovery, sleep and strain – always with effect size and sample size. Correlations, not causes.
ADAPT INSTEAD OF GRINDING
Your suggested weight learns from your training: hit every rep and it steps up next time – wake up with low recovery and the increase waits, with the suggestion slightly reduced. On weak days LeibFit also removes unfinished sets from today's workout, reversible with one tap. Every adjustment is explained, none happens silently. Orientation, not diagnostics.
DURING THE WORKOUT
The whole session at a glance, every set ticked off in place. Adjust weight and reps whenever you want, with "last time" right next to it. The rest timer starts on its own, keeps running reliably in the background, and reaches you even when the app is closed.
ON YOUR WRIST TOO
On Apple Watch you get your three numbers and today's workout right below them: tick off sets on the watch, the rest timer on your wrist, heart rate and elapsed time during the session. The watch records the workout and writes it to Apple Health. If your iPhone is somewhere else, ticked-off sets aren't lost – they travel over as soon as it's back in range. Plus a complication for your watch face. watchOS 10 or newer.
HISTORY AND WEEKLY REPORT
Volume, sessions and sets per muscle group as charts. On Sunday evening the weekly report sums up recovery, sleep, strain and training – a look back, not a report card. Finished workouts go to Apple Health.
YOUR DATA IS YOURS
No account. No sign-up. No servers. No analytics SDK. LeibFit collects nothing about you, because there is no infrastructure to collect it with. Health, journal, reminders and cycle context are each switched on separately – or not at all. Export whenever you want.
LeibFit Pro
Full access to everything. Free for 7 days, then EUR 6.99/month or EUR 44.99/year. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel – any time in your Apple ID settings.
Note: the AI features (coach chat, AI exercise selection, equipment recognition from free text) need an iPhone with Apple Intelligence and iOS 26. Planning, logging, history, recovery, sleep, strain, journal and weekly reports all run on iOS 17.6 without AI.
