SHINNEN is an experimental app that asks a simple question: can directed human thought influence randomness?

Quiet your mind. Hold a single intention. Then measure.

MEASUREMENT MODES QUICK (5s) - A short session against cryptographic randomness. Single-phase, no baseline. Ideal for daily practice. NORMAL (20s) - A two-phase session with a baseline period, for a more careful reading. HARD (48s) - Uses physical sensor noise from the accelerometer and gyroscope as the random source, rather than an algorithm. Requires Airplane Mode ON, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth OFF, and the charger unplugged. The most rigorous experimental design in the app.

HOW IT IS ANALYZED Every session is evaluated with NIST-style statistical tests. Deviation from expected randomness is expressed as a score, so results are comparable across sessions and across people.
