KEEP EVERY RECIPE • Add recipes by hand, or snap a photo of a page — even a handwritten card — and let it read the recipe in for you. • Photos, ingredients, method, timings, heat level, the story behind the dish — all in one place. • Search and filter by category, meat, season, difficulty, or how quick it is.

PLAN THE WEEK, SHOP ONCE • Plan the week's meals and see what the rest of the family is making. • Build a shopping list automatically from your planned meals — it syncs to everyone, with a share button for whoever's at the shop. • Mark what's already in the cupboard so you only shop for what's missing.

WHY THIS EXISTS A few years ago I moved away from my parents. My daughter asked her grandfather to write his recipes down for her — and he did, a paperback he made himself called the Kookbook. That's where this app started.
