ZERO-KNOWLEDGE, BY DESIGN Your safe is encrypted on your device before it ever touches our servers. We use the OPAQUE protocol for sign-in, which means we never see your safe password — not at signup, not at every login. Every item inside is encrypted with AES-256-GCM. If our servers were breached tomorrow, the attacker would walk away with encrypted bytes — no readable passwords, no useful metadata.
