Password Safe is an offline password manager that stores all logins, passkeys, and notes on your device with AES-256 encryption. It operates 100% offline (no cloud, no analytics), supports passkeys, autofill, and a built-in password generator, with optional Face ID/Touch ID unlock (Pro). Free features include secure storage, categorization, CSV import/export, backup/restore, auto-logout, and up to 50 entries.

Pro unlocks unlimited entries, attachments, custom fields, multiple categories, password history, and PDF export. Your master password never leaves your device and the vault stays private. You can back up to iCloud Drive or other providers, and Passkey Support (Beta) lets you store passwords and passkeys in one private vault.

This is a cool app but I can’t seem to back the account up to my email or Dropbox…it keeps saying that it’s failed. I’m on my free 3-day trial but don’t think I’ll actually subscribe, due to this issue, as it was one of the main reasons as to why I wanted to upgrade to PRO. Any suggestions??

I was using this app for years on a Galaxy S21 Ultra. Loved it. Had no problems and it was easy to use. Have over 50 passwords saved through free version with ability to add more. Recently upgraded my phone to an iPhone. I’m now limited to 50 passwords unless I upgrade to the pro version. Very unhappy with this difference based on if you’re using iOS or android. Won’t be using it anymore as I can’t store all my passwords in one place like I used to.
