Offline. Encrypted. Yours.
Key Save is a simple, offline password manager for iPhone and iPad.
Your accounts live in one place on your device, encrypted with AES-256. Nothing is uploaded, synced to a cloud, or shared with anyone — including us. There are no accounts to register, no servers to trust, and no analytics. If you open Activity Monitor while using Key Save, you will not see any network traffic, because the app does not contain any networking code.
WHAT KEY SAVE DOES
• Stores logins for any service: name, account, password, website, and notes
• Organizes entries by category (Social, Finance, Email, Shopping, Entertainment, Work, Gaming, Other) for quick filtering
• Unlocks with Face ID or Touch ID using the iOS Local Authentication framework — biometric data never leaves the Secure Enclave
• Generates strong random passwords with a single tap
• Copies usernames and passwords to the clipboard with a tap
• Sorts the vault by name (A→Z or Z→A) or by date created (newest or oldest first)
• Imports from Apple Notes and similar plain-text dumps. Auto-detect mode recognizes common patterns; Custom mode lets you map any line-per-entry layout to fields, so you do not have to reformat anything manually
• Exports everything as plain text on demand, so you are never locked in
PRIVACY BY DEFAULT
• Local-only storage. Your vault file lives in the app's private Documents directory, encrypted with a 256-bit key generated on first launch
• The encryption key is stored in the iOS Keychain with the "WhenUnlockedThisDeviceOnly" attribute — it does not sync to your other devices and cannot be read while the phone is locked
• No third-party SDKs. No Firebase, no Mixpanel, no Sentry, no advertising frameworks, no telemetry
• No accounts, no email, no phone number required to use the app
• Available offline — there is nothing online to be offline from
LANGUAGES
Key Save is fully localized in English, Traditional Chinese (繁體中文), and Simplified Chinese (简体中文). The app follows your iOS system language by default. You can also override it from Settings → Language without restarting.
WHAT KEY SAVE DOES NOT DO
To set expectations honestly:
• No cross-device sync. Your vault stays on the device you installed the app on. If you back up your device via iCloud Backup or Finder/iTunes, the encrypted vault file is included in that backup the same way other Documents-directory files are
• No browser autofill integration. You copy passwords manually
• No shared vaults or family sharing
• No password breach monitoring (we have no internet connection to check against)
• No web clipper, no Chrome extension, no companion macOS app
If you need any of the above, you probably want a cloud-based manager. If you want a small, auditable, single-device store for the accounts you do not want anyone — including your password manager vendor — to have, Key Save is for you.
SECURITY MODEL IN ONE SENTENCE
The vault is an AES-256-GCM-encrypted JSON file on your device; the key lives in your Keychain; we have no servers, so there is nothing to compromise on our end.
