Lyrics in perfect sync, now on iOS 27. The fill lands on the very character being sung, furigana and all, and the lyrics can float over other apps in a small window.

Lyrics in perfect sync — any song, any device.

The lyrics fill in with the music one character at a time: not just at the start of each line, but right on the character being sung. Even when the words are hard to catch by ear, you can see what is being sung. Perfect sync is what Think Songs cares about above all.

■ Perfect sync, above all ・Timings for every character, down to 1/100 of a second ・Long tones keep filling as they are held, and staccato stops the fill between notes (each character can carry both where the singing starts and where it ends) ・The sync offset is remembered for each output — wired, Bluetooth, AirPlay, car audio — so switching devices does not mean adjusting again ・Sync Calibration lines the lyrics up with your setup before you start

■ Show over other apps Put the lyrics in a small window that floats over your other apps. While you reply to a message or look something up, the lyrics keep filling in, in perfect sync with the music. ・Show 2 to 4 lines ・During a long intro or interlude, the next line to be sung appears early, so you can read it before the singing starts

■ Furigana, so anyone can read along Kanji carry furigana, and the furigana fill in character by character too, so you can follow where the song is even over kanji you cannot read.

■ Harmony and unison, at a glance When several people sing, colour shows who sings what. Unison blends the part colours into one; harmony colours the characters in upper and lower bands.

■ Make your own Listen to the songs you already have and stamp timings as you go — character by character, or line by line. Automatic furigana, detection of timings that run backwards, and copying a chorus you have already timed take the tedium out of it. Finished lyrics can be shared on think-songs.com.

■ For people learning Japanese Romaji can be shown too. Tap a word in the lyrics for its English meaning from the bundled Japanese-English dictionary, with an example sentence for many words (works offline).

The bundled Japanese-English dictionary is derived from EDICT2 by the Electronic Dictionary Research and Development Group (EDRDG), used under CC BY-SA 4.0.
