N = 1 is a self-experimentation app that lets you run your own rigorous personal trials, using the same two-phase
framework as professional clinical research.

How it works

Each trial has two phases:
• Control Phase — You track your baseline without any intervention, so you know where you're starting from. • Treatment Phase — You add the intervention and keep tracking the same metrics.

At the end, N = 1 compares your two phases side by side and tells you, in plain English, what actually changed in
your own data.

Daily check-ins take under 60 seconds. Results are shown as clear charts with a plain-English summary — no jargon,
no exaggerated claims. Just your numbers.

First trial: Magnesium Glycinate for Sleep

A 21-day structured experiment. One week of baseline sleep tracking, followed by two weeks of taking magnesium glycinate before bed. You'll measure:
• Hours slept
• Time to fall asleep
• Number of awakenings
• Time spent awake
• Overall sleep quality

When your trial ends, you get a full results breakdown — averages, charts, and a verdict on what your data showed.

Morning reminders keep your streak going. Evening reminders prompt you to take your supplement. Your data stays private.
