Reclaim - Screen Time Control

Reclaim puts a soft pause between you and the apps that quietly take your time.

Pick the apps you want to slow down — Instagram, TikTok, X, Reddit, anything. The next time you open one,
Reclaim steps in with a calm screen and asks you to take a breath, watch a moment pass, or type a code. Most of the time, that's all it takes to remember you didn't really want to be there.

No blocking. No streaks. No shame. Just a tiny moment of friction, by design.

How it works

1. Connect to Screen Time (Apple's Family Controls — your data stays on your device).
2. Pick the apps you want to soften.
3. Choose how each one pauses you.
4. Open the app like you normally would. Reclaim takes it from there.

Pause types

Free
• Minimalist — a slow inhale, a slow exhale, then you're in.

Reclaim Plus • 4-7-8 breathing — inhale 4, hold 7, exhale 8. The classic calming cycle.
• Boxed breathing — 4 · 4 · 4 · 4. Used by people who need to think clearly under pressure.
• Month so far — watch the days of this month tick by while you breathe.
• Year so far — see where you actually are in the year.
• Days until — a countdown to a date that matters to you.
• Passcode — a random 10-character code you have to type, exactly. Maximum friction, for the apps you keep
losing hours to.

You can give every app its own pause. The calm one for messages. The passcode for the doomscroll.

Private by design
Reclaim uses Apple's Family Controls framework. The list of apps you've chosen is stored locally on your device. We don't have a server, we don't have an account system, and we couldn't see your data even if we wanted to.

Requires
iOS 16 or later. Screen Time access (granted on first launch).
