Staff app for Montigo schools
It's 9:45 on Tuesday. Fourteen WhatsApp messages. Three apps open. You don't know if Aarav was observed today, if the holiday reminder went out, or whether tomorrow's outing van is
confirmed. Something is falling through the cracks. You can feel it.
Montigo School changes that.
What is Montigo School
Montigo School is the staff app for Montessori schools that run on the Montigo platform. One app for directors, admins, guides, drivers, and attendants. Built for Montessori, not adapted
from generic preschool or K-12 software.
School software, built for decisions. For guides on the floor, not behind a desk.
Why we built it
Most Montessori schools run on two pieces of software and a WhatsApp group. One app for observation tracking. Another for fees and messaging. A WhatsApp group fills the gaps. The director
becomes the stitcher between them. The admin spends her morning making the same update in four places. The guide loses half of what she saw on the floor by the time she finds a free
moment to write it down.
A Montessori school deserves more from its software than that. So we built Montigo.
For the director
One screen that shows you what needs your attention today. Which children haven't been observed this week. Which parents haven't heard from the school in two weeks. Which vans are running. Which fees are pending.
When a guide leaves, her observations on every child stay with the school. Institutional memory the school owns, not memory that walks out the door.
Less running between the floor and the desk. Less Sunday night dread about what was missed last week.
For the admin
One action, propagated everywhere. Mark Aarav absent and the van's stop drops, the teacher's register updates, the parent gets an acknowledgement, and the snack count adjusts. One tap, five things done.
Direct messages with parents from inside the app, so the school's chatter stops living in your personal WhatsApp at midnight.
A calendar that goes out once and lands on every parent's phone. No resending term dates for the third time.
For the guide
Log an observation in four taps. From the floor. While the work cycle is still fresh.
Pick the child. Pick the work. Note what you saw. Done. The why is captured at the moment it happened, not reconstructed from memory at midnight.
A list that surfaces the quiet child. Diya hasn't had an observation in nine days. You see her before her parent asks.
Class scoping that respects how Montessori works. You see your children. Their observations. Their attendance. Their messages. Not the whole school's noise.
For the transport team
Live trip execution. Driver and attendant see the day's route, the children to pick up, and the parents to notify, in one screen. Parents see the van move in real time. The school sees
who is on which van.
The transport features have been running in production for over a year. This is the part we built first, and it works.
Termly reports, not termly fiction
Reports are drafted from observations logged through the term, not reconstructed the night before conferences. The guide reviews and refines. The parent reads something true.
Why Montessori first matters
A Montessori day does not fit into subjects and homework. It runs on works, presentations, the three period lesson, and the long uninterrupted work cycle. Montigo's vocabulary,
observation flow, and progress views are built around that. Not stuffed into a generic school template. If your school is Montessori, the software you run on should feel that way.
Who Montigo School is for
