Your child's Montessori day.
"How was school?"
"Fine."
Every evening, every parent. The school day is a black box - a stray WhatsApp photo here, a holiday reminder there, a parent-teacher meeting twice a year. You know your child is in good hands. You don't know what those hands did today, or why it mattered.
Montigo changes that.
What is Montigo
Montigo is the parent app for Montessori schools that run on the Montigo platform. It was built for Montessori, not adapted from generic preschool or K-12 software.
One app for your child's whole day at school. Observations. Attendance. Transport. Messages. Calendar. Leaves. Gate notes.
One app instead of three. One source of truth instead of a WhatsApp group, a learning tracker, and a guide's paper notebook.
Why we built it
Most Montessori schools run on two pieces of software. One for observation tracking. Another for fees and messaging. A WhatsApp group fills the gaps. As a parent you end up with notifications scattered across three places, photos with no context, and no real sense of how your child is growing.
A Montessori parent deserves more from a school day than that. So we built Montigo.
Your child's day, explained
Every observation comes with the why. When your child works with the Pink Tower, you do not just see a photo. You see that the Pink Tower builds the visual sense of dimension that later becomes geometry. When your child works on Pouring Water, you see that it is building the concentration and motor control that becomes handwriting.
You see what your child worked on. For how long. With what concentration. Over weeks, you see a pulse. Independence rising. Fine motor steady. Number sense beginning. Real growth, not decorated photos.
The school day on your phone
Live transport tracking. You see exactly when the van leaves school and when it will reach you.
One tap leave declaration. Mark your child off and the trip cancels, the register updates, and the teacher is informed. One tap, four things done.
Daily attendance with a clear view of leave days. Gate notes for medicines, fever, water, or special pickups, sent straight to the school. A calendar of holidays, term dates, and parent meetings, synced to your phone.
Communication that respects your attention
One inbox, ranked by what needs your action. Announcements with acknowledgement and consent built in, so you stop missing forms. Direct messages with your child's guide and your school admin. Sibling support if you have more than one child at the school. The school's chatter stays at the school. Only what matters reaches you.
Termly insight, not termly fiction
Termly reports are drafted from real observations logged through the term, not reconstructed from memory the night before conferences. You read something true.
Why Montessori first matters
A Montessori day does not fit into subjects and homework. It runs on works, presentations, the three period lesson, and the long uninterrupted work cycle. Montigo's vocabulary, observation flow, and progress views are built around that. Not stuffed into a generic school template. If your child's school is Montessori, you should feel that in the app you use to follow their day.
Who Montigo is for
Montigo Parents is for families whose child's school runs on Montigo. You will need an invite from your school to log in. If your school is not on Montigo yet and you would like them to be, send them to montigo.school.
