Point your camera at the mountains around you and see peak labels in context. Epicrest uses your location, heading, elevation, camera direction, and mountain data to help identify what you are looking at.

Use the map and Peak Detail screens to explore: • Elevation, prominence, range, region, and alternate names where available • Nearby peaks and terrain context • Roads, trails, trailheads, and approach context where data exists • Apple Maps and Google Maps handoff where available

Depending on available provider data, weather can include: • Current conditions • Precipitation probability and type • Rain and snow amounts • Cloud cover • Sunrise and sunset • Hourly forecast cards • Multi-day forecast cards • Freshness and offline snapshot states

Weather is a planning aid, not a safety source. Always check official and local weather before heading out.
