Voice-first pain tracking
Speak a symptom in seconds — pain, gut, skin, or seizures. Tactu writes the clinical note and builds a doctor-ready report. Voice-first and private.
Tactu is a voice-first pain journal built for people living with chronic pain. Tap the microphone, describe what you feel in plain language for up to 10 seconds, and Tactu turns your words into a structured clinical note — with an NRS pain score (0–10), body locations, contributing factors, and McGill Pain Questionnaire descriptors. Every field is editable before you save. Works in English, Ukrainian, and Russian.
Over time, Tactu builds the timeline you actually need at a doctor visit.
FEATURES
• 10-second voice capture — Auto-stops so flare-day cognition isn't a blocker. Prefer typing? There's a field for that too.
• Clinical translation — GPT-4o converts your words into chief complaint, character descriptors, intensity, and aggravating factors, grounded in the McGill lexicon.
• Editable review — AI-extracted pain score, body locations (10 regions), factors (8 tags), and clinical note are all editable before save. You're always in control.
• Automatic weather — Barometric pressure, humidity, and temperature attached to every entry silently. Pressure drops correlate with flares.
• Flare episodes with history — Start and end flare periods with one tap. Tactu tracks duration and computes how different your pain is during flares versus your baseline.
• Medication log — Record the meds you're on. They show up in the doctor report alongside pain trends.
• Apple Health integration — With permission, Tactu reads your sleep, steps, and resting heart rate around each entry and attaches them as context.
• Pain velocity chart — Line chart with 7-day, 30-day, and 90-day ranges.
• Activity heatmap — Color intensity maps to the day's peak NRS. Bad weeks jump out visually.
• Six computed insights — Seven-day trend delta. Worst weekday. Severe-day percentage. Top trigger correlation. Affective language shift. Flare vs baseline.
• Daily reminder — Pick a time. Tactu taps you once a day to log. Opt-in.
• Doctor Report — One tap assembles an AI-written narrative, pain statistics, flare episodes, top triggers, medication list, Apple Health context, and your worst episodes. Share by Messages, email, or Files — or print as PDF.
PRIVACY
No accounts. No analytics. No ads. Entries, flares, medications, and Apple Health context never leave your device. Only your voice (for transcription) and typed text (for clinical translation) round-trip through our server, and neither is stored after the response.
Tactu uses Apple's App Attest to cryptographically verify every request comes from a genuine, unmodified installation of the app. Our OpenAI credentials live server-side where they can't be extracted from the binary.
NOT A MEDICAL DEVICE
Tactu is a documentation tool, not a diagnostic device. It doesn't diagnose, treat, or replace a clinician. Always consult your healthcare provider about any change in your symptoms or treatment.
REQUIREMENTS
• iPhone with iOS 26 or later
