CT MRI Medical Image Browser
Educational and review use only. Voxelis is not FDA-cleared and must not be used for primary diagnosis.
Open a CT study instantly — no import needed. A real public demo is bundled inside.
Voxelis is a private, local-first DICOM viewer for reviewing CT, MR, and other medical imaging studies on iPhone and iPad. Built for the moment a colleague AirDrops you a study and you just want to glance at it.
WHAT'S NEW IN 1.4
Multi-frame DICOMs scrub through every frame instead of stopping at frame 0. Enhanced multi-frame CT and MR studies under 1GB now load. JPEG and JPEG 2000 series show a partial-compatibility warning instead of failing silently. Plus a compact thumbnail rail, zoom percentage in the canvas overlay, and a cleaner WW/WL toolbar.
NEW
• Multi-frame DICOM correctness. ZIP imports of cine ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and enhanced multi-frame CT/MR now play every frame. Pre-v1.4, files sharing a series UID with internal frame counts were capped at one visible frame each.
• Enhanced multi-frame import. Studies with a single PixelData element above 256MB (up to the 1GB file ceiling) now parse — the previous element-size guard rejected legitimate enhanced CT/MR exports.
• Partial-compatibility warning. Series containing JPEG, JPEG 2000, or RLE frames now show an honest in-canvas warning capsule instead of silently rendering blank frames.
• Compact thumbnail rail on iPad. Tightened from 220pt wide to 92pt, with calm 2pt accent selection and 0.6 opacity dimming on unselected cells — no more competing with the medical image's brightness.
• Zoom percentage in the canvas overlay. The frame counter capsule now also shows the zoom level whenever it isn't 100%.
• Truncated DICOM series descriptions. Long machine strings like "MEMPRAGE_4e_p2_1mm_iso_RMS" no longer overflow the caption pill — full string still in the inspector pane.
• WW and WL sliders visually distinct. Window Width is accent-color; Window Level is orange. No more glance-down confusion.
