Discrobble is a single-purpose app for collectors who want their physical-music listening to count. Vinyl, CDs, cassettes, box sets: anything in your Discogs collection. Tap a button and the album you just played lands in your Last.fm history with the right artist, album, and tracklist, pulled straight from Discogs so the metadata is right.

— HOW IT WORKS —

1. Connect your Last.fm and Discogs accounts.
2. Discrobble syncs your Discogs collection: your records, dates added, formats, cover art.
3. Find the album you're playing. Tap Scrobble.
4. The album's tracks are submitted to Last.fm with realistic timestamps, the way streaming services do.

That's the whole loop. There are no friend feeds, no discovery algorithm, and no notifications.

— THE ALBUM PAGE —

Each album in your collection gets a page with the cover, the tracklist, a short introduction from Wikipedia when one exists, how many copies are for sale on Discogs right now with the lowest price, and when you last scrobbled it.

Two more sections are there if you want them, switched on in Settings:

• Your Discogs rating, editable with a tap. • Your Discogs collection notes, editable in the app.

The marketplace section can be switched off in the same place.

— BUILT FOR REAL COLLECTIONS —

Multi-disc sets can be scrobbled one disc or one side at a time instead of the whole album. When Discogs is missing track durations, Discrobble fills them in from Last.fm so the timestamps line up. Collections with well over a thousand items sync fine: every Discogs request comes from your own device, so you're never sharing a rate limit with other people's apps, and the app slows itself down before Discogs has to tell it to.

Pull to refresh picks up new additions, catches anything you've removed, and always tells you what it found.

Discrobble runs natively on iPad. The collection grid shows more albums per row, and the album page puts the cover and tracklist side by side. Your recent scrobbles sync through your account, so what you played on one device shows up on the other.

— PRIVATE BY DESIGN —

Your Discogs OAuth tokens never leave your device. Your collection is cached locally. There are no analytics SDKs, no advertising, no third-party trackers, and no crash reporting service in the app. The Discrobble server stores your encrypted Last.fm session key (used to submit scrobbles), your two usernames, your recent scrobbles so they can sync between your devices, and a count of your scrobbles for the free trial.
