Barbellum is the workout tracker built for lifters who want to spend less time on their phone and more time under the bar. No account required, no complicated setup, no mandatory "start workout" button. Just open the app, pick your exercise, and start logging.

Swipe through 177 exercises across six muscle groups — Chest, Back, Shoulders, Legs, Arms, and Core — organized by category with equipment tags and difficulty levels so you always find the right movement. Tap to lock in an exercise, enter your reps and weight, and hit Log Set. Your data is saved instantly. Add as many exercises as you want to a single session and swipe between them using the card-based interface. Barbellum groups your sets into workouts automatically based on time gaps, so you never have to remember to start or stop a session.

Your workout history lives in the History tab with both calendar and list views. Filter by week, month, year, or all time to see total workouts, sets, and volume at a glance. Tap any past workout to expand the full breakdown by exercise, and repeat it with one tap to load the same exercises into a fresh session. Pre-fill options let you carry over your previous reps and weight so you can focus on progressive overload instead of remembering numbers.

Save your gym locations and Barbellum detects when you arrive. It checks in with your mood, suggests a workout type, and can automatically load the workout you did on the same day last week as a starting template. When you walk through your front door after training, a notification recaps your session to keep you motivated.

Control your workout from your wrist with the Apple Watch companion app. Adjust reps, change weight, log sets, and switch between exercises without pulling out your phone. When your hands are chalked up or mid-set, use Siri voice commands to log sets, start workouts, check your personal records, or ask what you did today — all hands-free.

Completed workouts sync directly to Apple Health, and iCloud keeps your data in sync across all your devices. When you need your data outside the app, export everything as CSV or JSON with a single tap.

Make it yours with multiple themes, five languages (English, Spanish, German, French, and Italian), customizable category ordering, and a full user profile with age, gender, experience level, height, and body weight tracking. An interactive onboarding tutorial walks you through every feature, and a built-in user guide, FAQ, and troubleshooting section are always available in Settings.

Barbellum is free to use with optional tips to support continued development. No subscriptions, no paywalls on core features. Just a clean, fast, offline-first workout tracker that respects your time and your data.
