WHAT IS SOLUNAR THEORY?

Solunar theory (John Alden Knight, 1926) is the most trusted method anglers use to predict peak feeding activity. Fish bite most aggressively when the moon is directly overhead (transit) or underfoot (anti-transit). Moon phase and lunar distance further refine each day's score. Serious bass and offshore anglers have planned trips around solunar tables for a century.
