Trovu is a Jellyfin client for Apple TV, designed to play your personal media library without getting in the way. Connect your server, pick something, and press play. That's it.

Most video formats play directly on your Apple TV without server transcoding: H.264, HEVC, AV1, VP9, MKV, MP4, WebM, and more. Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, AAC, FLAC, and other common audio formats stream natively. DTS and TrueHD audio is automatically decoded so everything plays without manual configuration. Text subtitles (SRT, ASS, PGS, VTT) are supported from embedded tracks or your server.

You don't need to know what any of that means. Press play and Trovu handles the rest.
