Trovu plays most common media formats directly on your Apple TV, reducing the need for server transcoding. Supported formats include H.264, HEVC, AV1, VP9, MKV, MP4, WebM, and more.

Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, AAC, FLAC, and other common audio formats are supported. DTS and TrueHD audio is automatically decoded when needed. Embedded and server-provided subtitles are supported in formats including SRT, ASS, PGS, and VTT.

Trovu is a client application for your personal media library. It requires access to an existing Jellyfin or Plex Media Server. Trovu does not provide, host, or stream media content.
