1. Run Jellyfin on your Mac, PC, or NAS
2. Enter your server URL, or just type its IP address

THE ENGINE Built natively with AVPlayer, Tomo TV plays H.264 and HEVC in any container (MKV, AVI, WMV, and more) right on your device, no server transcoding needed. Unsupported audio like AC3, DTS, and TrueHD converts to AAC on the fly, legacy video formats like VP9, MPEG-2, and MPEG-4 transcode locally, and on devices with AV1 hardware, AV1 plays directly too. Your server only steps in for the rest, so everything just plays.

REQUIREMENTS

• A Jellyfin server (10.8 or later recommended)
• Server transcoding only for the formats the device hands off
