Zen Home is a meditation app rooted in Japanese Zen Buddhism — Soto and Rinzai traditions. While other apps pile on content and guided sessions, Zen Home strips everything away. What remains is what Zen has always been: silence, a bell, and you.

THE PRACTICE

• Zazen Timer — Set 3 to 60 minutes. A bell marks the beginning and end. Nothing else.
• Susokukan — Count your breath from one to ten, then return to one. An ancient practice to anchor the mind.
• Posture Guide — Five cards teach you the essentials: how to sit, where to place your hands, where to rest your eyes, how to breathe, and what "just sitting" truly means.

DAILY ZEN

• Zen Word — A new zen word every day. Each comes with its meaning and reflection.
• Koan — A weekly koan from Zen masters. A question that logic cannot answer — holding it is the practice itself. Daily hints deepen your understanding over seven days.

YOUR JOURNEY

• Stone Garden Calendar — Each day you sit, a stone is placed in your karesansui garden. The empty days are not failures — they are space.
• Statistics — Monthly and all-time sessions, total time, and days practiced. Your streak is shown quietly, without pressure.

ATMOSPHERE

• Three ambient soundscapes: temple morning, rain garden, bamboo grove.
• Interval bells to mark the passage of time during longer sits.
• Haptic feedback for breath counting.
