one moment: screen time

Most of the time, you don't decide to open the app. Your thumb does.

one moment adds a single moment of pause before the apps you've chosen to limit. When you tap one of them, a calm screen appears first: how many times you've opened it today, against the limit you set for yourself. Then one choice — continue, or not now.

That's the whole product. A gap between the reach and the open, just wide enough for a conscious thought.

When you open a tracked app, the pause screen appears. Continuing is always allowed: one moment never blocks you, never shames you, and doesn't do streaks. Going over your limit just means the screen says so. When a session timer runs out, you get a clear end point — and starting a new session is one honest tap away.

one moment uses Apple's Screen Time technology, and asks for Screen Time permission for exactly one purpose: to show you the pause before apps you yourself chose to limit. It cannot see what you do inside your apps, and nothing about your usage ever leaves your device.
