Karesansui is a zen garden for daily meditation. Rake the sand, place a few stones, and sit for a while.

There is nothing to win here. No streaks to protect, no notifications pulling you back. Just sand that keeps your strokes and a quiet place to return to.

WHAT YOU CAN DO • Rake the sand with your finger. Strokes are smooth and continuous, and they stay exactly as you left them. • Place rocks, plants, lanterns and more than sixty other pieces, then move, resize or remove them. • Set a meditation timer of 1, 5, 10 or 20 minutes, with a soft bell at the start and the end, halfway through, or every five minutes. • Follow a breathing guide with three rhythms, in step with gentle haptics. • Choose from ten ambient sounds that loop without a seam, and keep them playing with the screen locked. • See your session on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island while your phone rests. • Pick your sand color and texture.

A CALMER KIND OF PROGRESS Each day you practice, a flower appears on your calendar. Miss a day and your streak survives, thanks to rest days you earn by practicing. Your level never goes down. And if you would rather not count anything at all, Serene mode hides every number and keeps only the garden.
