User Reviews

Nautiline is praised for its clean, Apple-like UI, strong Navidrome integration, and robust offline features. It offers a rich feature set (search, composer tag, offline playlists) and CarPlay support, making it a top choice for Navidrome on iOS. Many users consider the purchase worthwhile, with a free trial and active development. However, some repeatedly note the intrusive trial prompts and occasional stability issues (freezes, audio glitches, lyric syncing) as drawbacks. For those offline with Navidrome, it remains the standout iOS client.
Pros
  • Clean, modern UI that feels like Apple Music and is fast and intuitive.
  • Excellent Navidrome integration with offline caching and offline playback.
  • Rich features including powerful search, access to Composer tag, offline playlists, and library/folder filtering.
  • CarPlay support and reliable hardware integration.
  • Valuable, one-time purchase with a free trial and ongoing development/support.
Cons
  • Aggressive trial/purchase prompts that interrupt the experience.
  • Notable stability issues in some cases: occasional freezes, playback glitches, and lyric sync problems.

Snappy, customizable, consistent. Hard to find all three, but Nautiline does them all so well.

I’ve tried every iOS Navidrome client available and there some good ones, but none that tick every box. Nautiline does! Easily worth the one time price.

Such an amazing client so far nothing to really complain about. aesthetics wise It would be cool to toggle an on and off option to see or disable the technical parts. For example, when playing music under the album picture, someone would see Opus • 130 Kbps • local. Instead of seeing that, it can just say loseless audio. We can be given the option to have it off or on. Another thing is when playing music from random tracks. When I click play, it would look nice if the arrow was on-top of The music art instead of black. Overall this app is cool, nothing to really complain about. Also worth every cent. Great job!
