User Reviews

CFB Simulator is a fun, deep college football sim with engaging recruiting and gameplay, but stability issues—crashes, loading delays, and progress inconsistencies—undermine the experience. UI quirks like recruitment resets add friction. With improved stability, it has strong potential and appeal for fans of strategy-based college sports sims.
Pros
  • Fun and immersive college football simulation with strong replay value.
  • Recruiting system is enjoyable and adds meaningful depth.
  • Play-calling is exciting and impactful, with rewarding player development.
  • Solid depth and realism with potential for future expansions (coordinators, cross-sport ideas).
Cons
  • Frequent crashes and freezes during simulations, causing loss of progress.
  • Loading issues and long or endless loading times requiring restarts.
  • Progress and results inconsistently saved or registered (e.g., wins not solidified).
  • UI/UX friction such as recruiting hours resetting when switching tabs and filters losing state.

Really enjoy the game a lot, would like a little bit more such as NIL and being able to hire and fire coordinators. It would also be cool to be able to apply for jobs, sometimes I start as a coordinator at a small school trying to work up to a head coaching job and would like to be able to apply to certain schools
