User Reviews

Gridiron Coaching offers an immersive college football management experience with dynasty depth, strong UI, and frequent updates. Players praise the concept, potential, and the free base game value, plus the depth of recruitment and transfer options. However, reviews repeatedly flag critical issues that hinder play: persistent sign-in/account creation and cloud-saving failures that prevent progress from being saved; widespread bugs, crashes, and UI glitches that make the game feel unfinished; a recruitment/transfer system that can be buggy or restrictive; and postseason/CFP playoff logic that sometimes won’t work correctly or seed improperly. When fixed, it could be a top mobile sim.
Pros
  • Immersive, deep college football management experience.
  • Free base game with ongoing updates and good value.
  • Beautiful UI and overall presentation.
  • High replayability and a wide range of features.
  • Active development that listens to feedback and updates frequently.
Cons
  • Frequent sign-in/account creation problems and server/network errors.
  • Cloud saving/progress is not reliably saved, leading to progress loss.
  • Persistent bugs, crashes, freezes, and unfinished UI.
  • Recruiting and transfer portal mechanics are buggy or too restrictive, limiting player recruitment.
  • Playoff postseason logic not functioning correctly, with seeding and progression issues.

It’s good but after like the 3rd season it just kicks you out after game and it happens constantly

This game is awesome and scratches the itch of recruiting until CFB 27. But GOOD GOD the bugs are terrible. It crashes multiple times every 5 minutes and makes it pretty much unplayable. Also on the target screen how the players switch around after you give them a certain number of points in annoying too. If they could fix the bugs I would play this game all the time.

I feel like the draft logic of players getting picked should be a little better, like I. Had a player that was going crazy in college not get drafted because he was like a 84 over(low overall) but I had a guy that was pretty bad go 7th overall Becuase he was 99 ovr just a little idea I think the game would be better, it would also be cool if you added the nfl/pro team there going to all though I know that might be hard because of rights and stuff but amazing game loving it so far, You guys should add that if you start as a bad school and turn it super good and a dynasty that future years higher recruits are more interested unlike how now mostly 3-2 stars are mostly getting signed on auto recruiting and 3-2 stars are usally only interested. Like I won a national championship first year for a mid team and there was still only 3 stars interested. You should also seperate Db and s like for position awards. And for off-season you should add that players gain weight and get bigger (ofc by position and class they are) kinda like how cfb 26 has it and should make weight and build plays a factor in games even tho I know it’s sim , I posted another review, I really like it so far this game has alot of potential and I’m just trying to give ideas not be a bug lol
