User Reviews

Players praise the concept and depth of College Football Sim 2, with enjoyable gameplay and strong recruiting potential. However, the app is plagued by stability bugs, buggy recruiting, and a lack of ongoing updates, which leads to crashes, freezes, and data loss across seasons. The UI is viewed as a regression from the earlier title, and ad interruptions further hamper play. Improvements in updates, recruitment automation, and UX would help unlock the game's potential.
Pros
  • Fun and engaging college football management experience.
  • Rich depth in recruiting and player management when features work as intended.
  • Clear potential to be an A+ game with updates and fixes.
  • Positive sentiment from long-term players who enjoy the core concept.
  • Interesting and realistic coaching and game-planning aspects.
Cons
  • Frequent stability issues: crashes, freezes, and long loading times across seasons.
  • Recruiting is buggy and inconsistent; auto-recruiting and promises often fail.
  • Lack of ongoing updates/development; last update years ago and limited support.
  • User interface and UX regressions compared to the first game.
  • Ad interruptions and performance drops during ads and after games.

Can’t sim one week without having to restart my game and do everything over again. Delete the game or fix and finish it because you and I both know this game is no where near done. For the last update to be 2 years ago

If you took CFB Sim 1, added the ability to save/load league files, fixed some of the bugs, added a couple features, you would’ve had an A+ game. The UI on this game is a downgrade in every single way from the first one. It took the simplicity and ease of use of the first game and made it 10x worse, not better. So disappointing.

It’s got good basics but it runs an add after every single game you simulate.
