User Reviews

User feedback highlights three recurring themes: (1) data quality issues—incorrect product details, inconsistent ratings, and duplicate listings; (2) a subscription-driven model with confusing onboarding and billing problems; and (3) privacy concerns with extensive data requests and friction starting the app. Despite some praise for easy tracking and shopping with the app, these pain points deter continued use.
Pros
  • Helps you know what you’re eating and which foods to avoid to stay healthy.
  • Simple and useful for tracking meals and shopping, making healthier choices easier.
  • Keeps you informed about ingredients and nutrition, aiding family health decisions.
  • Provides educational health awareness in an accessible format.
Cons
  • Pricing and billing: subscription-based model with confusing onboarding, hidden fees, and frequent charges.
  • Data accuracy: wrong product info, inaccurate suggestions, duplicate items with conflicting ratings.
  • Onboarding friction: long questionnaire requirements and difficulty starting use without subscribing; hard to delete.
  • Privacy/data collection concerns: perceived excessive data collection and requests.
  • Duplicates and inconsistent listings: same product appearing with conflicting data, causing confusion.

Ummm… so apparently Pop tarts are rated with a very high score and was recommended as a replacement to the sparkling water I scanned???

I love knowing which foods to avoid and what exactly I am eating. I want to stay healthy and avoid toxic/fake foods

The first 3 things I scanned, only 2 had the correct product info. The suggestions are highly inaccurate as well. For an alternative to lotion, it suggested rose water, essential oils, SPF. I clicked on one that was titled lotion with a 100/100 score and the picture was of sardines. Another lotion listed as 100/100 included only 1 ingredient of 20+, which surely would have brought the score down since it’s a major label with many additives. For multiple products, I tried to submit a ticket about how there was severely wrong information and you can’t without taking a picture for the app to scan and process a label. I haven’t bought these items so I can’t do so. I also could upload a photo of the ingredients label from the products website.
