Remote Legacy (formerly Filmic Remote) enables wireless remote control and monitoring of Filmic Pro from iOS devices. Designed for use with Filmic Pro v7.4.2 and earlier, it turns spare iOS devices into a portable on-set studio, with three modes: Control, Monitor, and Director.

Control mode mirrors the Filmic Pro interface for full remote control: start/stop recording, focus/exposure reticle placement, dual arc sliders for focus and exposure, pull-to-point focus, and loading presets. Monitor mode delivers a four-up analytics view: video preview, waveform, vectorscope, and histograms for quick brightness and color assessment. Director mode provides a clean preview for on-set supervision. Remote Legacy can run in preview-only mode for monitoring while the operator controls the camera. Requires iOS 13+ devices, Wi-Fi or peer-to-peer networking.
