Darkstar Idle RPG is visually appealing with addictive idle progression and offline growth, usable without heavy spending. However, it’s plagued by crashes, heavy advertising, and aggressive monetization that can overshadow the experience. Updates often upset balance and increase grind, while bugs persist. Overall a visually impressive idle space game, but technical issues and monetization concerns significantly affect long-term enjoyment.

Recent reviews

It’s a fun game to play but there are so many issues that the devs have to correct. Balancing: This is the worst thing since there’s no way to determine when you’re not powerful enough to fight the boss. Damage numbers don’t make any sense and the bosses are spongy. There needs to be an indication that the player can read to show the power level of the boss. Also the combat has to be rebalanced so players don’t get stuck for days. Gacha drops: It actually works since it benefits the player even when merging lesser abilities, equipment, and personnel. There’s no reason to spend money on this since the game is generous with tickets and diamonds. However, it doesn’t help you damage output enough anyways. Bugs: One of the event login rewards keeps saying there’s an error with the server connection when there isn’t one. There’s also a high chance of the player’s ship taking damage from no one and this is across all combat. The interface has issues where it will activate the wrong menu. Obviously it needs a lot of work with quality of life features, bug fixes, combat balancing, and general fun level. I got sick of waiting for any fixes and quit. Best to avoid this trash.
